CM PUNK is set for a big wrestling-related appearance in Chicago.

Punk left WWE in 2015 citing creative differences and health issues.

Since then, The Second City Saint has cut ties with professional wrestling and has been focusing on a UFC career.

However, Pro Wrestling Tees announced that The Straightedge Superstar will be doing a special meet and greet on August 31 at their Chicago store.

They tweeted: “Our special guest appearing Aug 31st, 2018 at the Pro Wrestling Tees retail store in Chicago, IL will be CM Punk.

“Limited meet & greet tickets go on sale May 23rd at 12pm ct.”

This takes place on the same city as All In, an independent wrestling super show presented by The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes, which will be staged the next day on September 1.

Some have been speculating that the six-time world champion will make an appearance at Starrcast.

However, there’s no official information linking the ex-WWE Champion to that event.

CM Punk is one of WWE’s greatest superstars of all time who currently holds the longest world title reign of the modern era.

The modern era is usually defined by WWE as the post-Hulk Hogan years.

Punk held the WWE Championship for a whopping 434 days from late 2011 to early 2013.
